 People and Culture Business Partner, Sub Saharan Africa, Roche

Eno Aronu is the People & Culture Business Partner, SubSahara Africa for Roche. a major Pharmaceutical company in Nigeria, in Africa and one of the largest Pharmaceutical companies in the world. She is a transformational leader, with a passion in building high performing and highly motivated teams who feel included and driven by a collective vision. She is a firm believer in bringing out the best in others through internship, mentorship and giving opportunities for people to display their talents an fulfil their potential. One way she achieves this is by exposing them to individuals and teams that mirrorwhat they intend to become.

She had an interview session with the immediate past Chairman of Roche Global, celebrating Africa day2020, which highlighted the various achievements within Roche Africa among other things. She has led and worked on various projects in Roche across functional teams (including human resources &business) and geographies (Africa, Middle East, Europe, Asia and South  America). In 2020/2021, she was part of the team that developed and implemented a leadership program for middle level managers called “EMerging Leaders” whose aim was to increase the pipeline of leaders from emerging markets for global roles within Roche. In 2022, she led a work package (project team), which built an AGILE tool that enabled effectiveness and efficiency within teams in the delivery of value to patients.

She has in the past, prepared the teams in Nigeria and Ghana for the business transformation and with input from other colleagues, came up with a group called ‘Culture Ambassadors’ which championed the culture of speaking up and giving & receiving candid feedback. She co-organized a mentorship session with Mrs Abena Osei-Poku, The Managing Director of ABSA Bank, Ghana for Roche Nigeria and Ghana to commemorate international women’s day in 2023. She is presently the product owner/Business Project Manager for THRYVE: a Development programme for Talents in Africa.

Eno is also an experienced sales professional, having vast knowledge in sales performance assessment and training, sales leadership, and sales management. She has over 17 years work experience across multinationals. She has worked in various roles, achieving various milestones and awards throughout her career. She has her first degree in Pharmacy, an MBA from University of Roehampton, London and a PHRi certification – Professional in Human Resources International- from the HR Certification Institute.
