Ntwala Mwilima

General Manager, Corporate Affairs and Strategy, NAMIBRE

Ms. Ntwala Mwilima joined NamibRe as the Company Secretary in 2015. In 2018, Ms. Mwilima was appointed General Manager: Corporate Affairs and Strategy. Before joining NamibRe, Ms. Mwilima worked for the Labour Resource and Research Institute as a Researcher, International Labour Organization as a Project Coordinator and Economist at the Bank of Namibia.  

Ms. Mwilima has over 19  years’ work experience and has gained expertise in the areas of socio-economic development, research, project coordination, policy development, corporate governance, strategy development, human resources, marketing, and communications. Ms. Mwilima’s qualifications include a master’s degree obtained from the University of Witwatersrand, Senior and Executive Development certificates obtained from the University of Stellenbosch, a certificate in climate finance leadership from the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership and an Executive certificate in sustainable leadership in Africa obtained from the HEC Paris Leads University, in collaboration with UCT Graduate school of business, Mohamed VI Polytechnic University.
