Vanessa is a Marketing Communications lead with over 6 years of experience in Integrated Marketing Communication, Content Strategy, Social Media Management and Influencer Marketing.
She started her career as an SEO executive at Kaymu Nigeria, after which she worked as a Beauty Editor at online fashion platform, Style Vitae and as a Digital Manager at Genevieve Magazine. Her career took form beyond writing into strategy and project management when she started working as a Community Manager at Livespot Group. Since then, she has gone ahead to work as a Content Strategist at Travelstart Nigeria, Head of Content at Webcoupers and is currently Head of Communications at Ingressive Capital. In her career, Vanessa has worked with multinational companies as well as Nigerian conglomerates to project manage as well as execute content and influencer marketing campaigns. She has also been responsible for conversion marketing campaigns, and awareness driven campaigns for some of these brands.
Some of these brands are Glo Nigeria, Mouka Limited, Golden Morn, OneBank by Sterling Bank, Halogen, Uber Nigeria, Essenza, Maltina, Heineken, Star, Tiger beer, Virgin Atlantic, Lufthansa, Guerlain, Montaigne Place, Expression Nigeria, Zaron Cosmetics, Los Lifestyle and a list of startups.
In December 2019, she won Webcoupers Consulting Social Media Management Company of the year at Nigeria Technology Awards. As a constant learner, Vanessa constantly wants to make the best out of Digital Marketing by engaging in interactive conversations and her newest interest is veering into speaking engagements that shed light on the beauty of marketing communication. When Vanessa is not busy being a leader at work, she enjoys social engagement planning and intellectual banter.
