Wendy Cupido
General Manager South Africa and Sub Region, Roche
Wendy started her career in the Pharmaceutical Industry in 2002 and joined Jansse Cilag in a learnership programme.
Upon completion of the learning programme, Wendy went on to join MSD in 2003 and worked as a Professional Sales Representative specializing in hypertension, pain and respiratory disorders. Wendy joined Lundbeck SA in 2004 as a Medical Representative and remained in this role for 7 years. While doing this she embarked on her Postgraduate studies in Marketing and Customer Centricity and graduated with Cum Laude from University of Johannesburg in 2007.
Wendy spent 22 years at Lundbeck where she worked in various roles until she became a Country Manager in 2019 for 4 years. During this time she completed international certificates in Business Leadership from IMD Business School in Switzerland. She was also selected in the top 12 global talent during her last 2 years at Lundbeck and was selected to partake in a 2 year global leadership programme.
Wendy is currently the General Manager at Roche South Africa and Sub Region. She is also sits on the Executive Board of both the Marketing Code Authority (MCA) and Innovative Pharmaceutical Association of South Africa (IPASA)
